In addition to being compact, the Breadman TR875 bread machine, has durability "written" all over it. It is made largely of stainless steel, and in addition to being durable, stainless steel is quite attractive, too!

The truth of the matter is, we should have gotten the Breadman TR875 a long time ago. My wife is allergic to gluten, and the bread she is allowed to eat tastes pretty much like cardboard. Unfortunately, because it was impractical to have 2 types of bread in the house for 2 people, I ended up eating the gluten free bread, too!

Pretty soon we simply stopped eating bread.

The Breadman TR875has a gluten free cycle, which allows us to put the ingredients we want in our loaves. So far, the gluten free bread has been good. I still prefer whole wheat bread, though.

The whole wheat cycle is my favorite, and produces very hearty and flavorful bread. The whole wheat bread from our old Sonoma bread machine, never seemed to be as dense as it should be. The kneading action in that old machine is not anywhere as thorough as the kneading action provided by the Breadman TR875 bread machine.

The Breadman TR875 Bread Machine Makes Good Pizza Dough, Too!

An added bonus is that this unit is great at making pizza dough! In fact, we have gotten so spoiled by our home made pizza, that we don't even consider take out or delivery. Again, the Breadman TR875 does such a great job at kneading dough, it makes a huge difference in our pizza crusts!

And, I almost forgot to mention how quiet the Breadman TR 875 Breadmaker 2lb is! Our former bread machine had to be put in the basement because it made so much noise. You actually could not have a conversation while it was kneading the dough!

A great feature of the Breadman TR875 Bread Machine, is that it makes 3 sizes of loaves. It makes 1 lb, 11/2 lbs, and 2 lbs loaves. This is excellent for my wife and I, who only can eat so much bread before it goes stale. I LOVE my one pound loaves of whole wheat!
